You’re never going to have the misfortune of getting dangled by Cristiano Ronaldo nor finish for a goal off a Cesc Fabregas cross. In fact you’re never going to suit up for Arsenal. However with Nike’s latest commercial, Take It To The Next Level, you have just been given a first hand perspective as you rise to prominence. Being scouted by Arsene Wenger himself, you are soon afforded the opportunity of coming on as a sub in a huge match vs. rivals Manchester United, also for your missed tackle to led to C. Ronaldo scoring a goal. Through the glamor of red carpet events and playing in Europe, this is all met with hard work off the pitch training. Nike has always had a knack for creating great soccer related commercials and this one is no exception.
Here’s the new Jordan commercial which is now broadcasting on TV and on other media outlets like Youtube. In this commercial, Michael Jordan starts off by saying “Maybe It’s My Fault” and leads on with several “Maybes” before telling the watcher that perhaps we’re just making excuses for not being as successful as he was. Even though the commercial was just a commentary, the mood it gave off was inspiring. Another nice piece of work from the folks at Wieden + Kennedy and Jordan Brand.
Earlier today, we showed you the video of Kobe Bryant’s jump over a moving Aston Martin. With all the talk surrounding Nike’s uber impressive Hyperdunk sneaker, it is difficult not to believe in its technology. Many wondered whether it was authentic or not. After all, Los Angeles is within very close proximity to Hollywood. Kobe breaks down the truth before a recent Laker game.

As previously shown, Nike unveiled their new shoe for the Beijing Olympics, the Hyperdunk, which will be worn by Kobe and his USA teammates. A video has surfaced showing exactly how efficient these new shoes might become. It looks like Kobe is joined by fellow Laker Ronny Turiaf in a scene where Kobe attempts to jump over an Aston Martin while wearing the Hyperdunk. Whether this is actually Kobe or a stunt double remains to be seen, but from the looks of it these sneakers can definitely take off.
As previously mentioned, the World Wide Bape Heads Show which will have performances by Kanye West, N.E.R.D., Nigo and the Teriyaki Boyz will be taking place in Hong Kong on April 10th. Here is a look at the commercial for the upcoming show which is an neat animation with all the performers drawn in a Bape style.
If you’re in Hong Kong, you can purchase the tickets here. If not, you can watch the commercial here.
Sony has always looked to innovation and excitement to advertise their top of the Sony Bravia products. We saw it back in October as a city ran rampant with rabbit after rabbit made of Play Doh. To promote Sony’s imaging collection (including video cameras), their ingenuity brought them to Miami where the city was literally turned into a city of foam with a gigantic foam maker manned by an 18 man crew:
Foam Maker Stats
-2.8 meters in diameter.
-Uses 1,000 liters of water to create 2,000,000 liters of foam per minute.
-Can fill up an Olympic swimming pool in only 24 seconds.
-It is estimated that 460 million liters of foam will be made by the end of the commercial’s production.
We’re definitely looking forward to seeing the final product for this commercial. Stay tuned for more details.

We’ve recently seen Louis Vuitton’s ad starring Pharrell Williams for the LV-Blason Jewelry. Now for its new and first television ad campaign, LV is shifting a bit from their luxury image to a more adventurous one. The tone of the ad is more philosophical too asking, “What is a journey?” With collective images from around the world of people, nature, and cityscapes (with a little image hint of an LV bag), this ad is Louis Vuitton’s most emotional one yet. The campaign comes from the Ogilvy agency in Paris.

In 1948, Adi Dassler founded one of the largest footwear companies today, Adidas. Ever since, Adidas has performed equally well in both the sportwears sector and the lifestyle market. This animated commercial which was created by 180 Amsterdam takes us on a journey with the man that started it all.
You can watch the video here.
Few weeks ago, Fashion Week Daily announced that Pharrell Willams was working with Camille Miceli from Louis Vuitton on a new jewelry collection called the Blason collection. This new collection is “a variation on four themes, in which the rhythm and energy of the new continent harmonize with the spirit of historic Europe.” Prices range from 420 to 1200 Euro and will be available at Louis Vuitton stores starting this Spring.
Here now is the commercial which accompanies the Blason collection starring no other than Pharrell Williams himself. You can see the commercial on Youtube.

Manchester United (and escort loving) football wonderkid Cristiano Ronaldo shares the spotlight with the Bugatti Veyron in this latest Nike ad promoting the Mercurial Vapor SL. The Veyron’s title of world’s fastest street legal vehicle is put to the test in a line to line race with Ronaldo. Check the video on Youtube.
(Apparently) $20 million dollars later you have a commercial peddling a vodka that is barely identifiable and that is probably more then I want to spend getting bunged up. But the commercial does boast some interesting personalities including photographer Terry Richardson, actor Vincent Gallo and what appears to be a commercial-only track by RZA formerly of some group called Wu-Tang. Check the clip over at Youtube.
Dave Ortiz and the gang at Dave’s Quality Meats brings in the Christmas fun and cheer with his newest action packed, high budget, special effects ladened commercial as he goes around on his quasi-bike sleigh. I can’t imagine a dull moment with these guys. The video can be seen here on Youtube.
