These latest adidas Materials of the World release each respectively find inspiration from Japan and Norway. The Micropacer is themed after Japanese New Year’s Eve “Omisoka”. The events of the night include special decorations alongside a meal of noodles which are the precursor to a trip to the temple. The Lady Casual Boot is inspired by Norwegian woolen pullovers worn by women seeking marriage. Both are available now at Overkill.

FUCT’s latest Japanese market release features their Woodland Camo Jacket. The jacket includes a water resistant body made of nylon with ribbed sleeves and waist band. Rather then your traditional abstract camo, FUCT went the route of using lifelike prints. The jacket is available now at STLESS.
The help of Nemesis Project was enlisted to as toy and apparel brand Kid Robot set out to create a contemporary art piece for Art Basel Miami. The fixed gear bike includes a series of aesthetic highlights such as custom Kid Robot valve stem caps, Kid Robot headbadge on the frame as well as a snowflake white ostrich bike seat. The full list of components can be seen after the jump. The $6,000 bike includes a custom set of U-lock and took kit. The bike is currently on display at the Kid Robot Store in Miami.

Fossil watches are yet another brand to secure a collaboration with Medicom Toys to produce a Bearbrick. The two-pack features a translucent sparkle body and what appears to be questionable mascara. The Bearbricks will be handed out with each purchase in excess of $4,500 TWD(approximately $138 USD) from now until December 30th at all Fossil Taiwan dealers.

For all the adidas’ beasts out there… you can now make your crappy and gross tasting Christmas cookies in the shape of adidas’ Trefoils. The cookie cutters were created with adidas’ founder Adi Dassler’s parents in mind. Apparently the Dassler parents originally wanted their son to be a baker rather then create a multi-billion dollar shoe empire. No word on availability.

Japanese motor inspired brand Neighborhood will release a special online exclusive jacket later this month. The Neighborhood.jp Original Jacket is comprised of a nylon shell with characteristics similar to an M65. The left breast includes a crest. Available December 26th at Neighborhood’s online store.
Often working in a more two dimensional context, Japanese artist Madsaki recently opened up his “All Day I Dream About Sunsex” exhibition which takes his work to a lesser seen 3-D sculpture format. The sculptures are constructed around the lay out of the Meguro Rice Factory, taking into consideration the support pillars. In some ways the sculptures are similar to his signature urban camo designs. The event runs until December 21st.
