Despite the timeless nature of Clarks’ popular models including the Natalie, Desert Boot and Wallabee, Clarks has reinvented itself on numerous occasions. Although each style has largely remained the same, differentiation has come through the use of unique materials. In recent memory we’ve seen the likes of ballistic nylon and horse hair all seen with this most recent release featuring natural canvas for the uppers. In addition both the Natalie and Wallabee can be seen with leather highlights around the collar. Available now at Chapterworld.
In a partnership between Japanese retailers Zozo, Ships and footwear makers Clarks, the three have recently released a special edition of the Desert Boot. Unlike conventional models, the whole upper of the boot has been continually treated with wax to ensure waterproof finish and the special finish seen here. Available now at Ships.
Sneaker boutique Concepts collaborated with popular graf artist Stash and shoe maker Clarks for this three way collabo wallabee. The shoe features black perforated leather and yummy suede as well as a tag with Stash’s signature on it. These limited wallabees will be dropping in January at Concepts and Recon.

In the small English town of Street, Somerset, Clarks got their start as a small footwear maker destined to become a leading casual footwear manufacturer. Their success is deeply rooted in their goals of creating comfortable and quality footwear. In 1965, the development of their moc style shoe, the Wallabee alongside the Desert Boot went on to become timeless Clarks’ classics. Seen here are two styles of the Wallabee, each employing different materials such as nylon and leather. The leather pair includes a gator like toebox as an update to the traditional smooth leather fare. Check your local Clarks dealer for availability.
Stash and Clarks teamed up to create a BLK/STASH colorway of the Wallabee. You can barely see anything in these teaser pictures but after all it’s a trusty Wallabee, use your imagination. I’m more curious as to what color “STASH” is? Dropping soon at Recon Store.

Futura Laboratories has worked together closely with classic footwear label Clarks to produce a special version of the popular Wallabee model. The boot itself is adorned with laser etchings of Atmoic Ring designs. The upper is constructed of leather with another interesting highlight seen on the laces.
