The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama was born on March 29, 1929. “Her work shows some attributes of feminism, minimalism, surrealism, Art Brut, pop art, and abstract expressionism, and is infused with autobiographical, psychological, and sexual content.” (Wikipedia) To commemorate the documentary film “≒ Yayoi Kusama: I love”, XLarge and X-girl has collaborated with Porter to create a set of Yayoi Kusama bags.
