Continuing with their special Original Intent collection, DVS has hooked up with longtime DVS skater and HUF brand founder Keith Hufnagel on a diverse range of sneakers for the 2008 summer collection. With the careful eye of Hufnagel watching over, we’re met with some choice colorways which we feel adhere to the present direction of the HUF brand itself with not only a bit of flash but a mixture that includes refined styles as well. Three models include the HUF 5 Runner, HUF 5 Low and HUF 5 Mid. Check your HUF local Original Intent dealer for availability. Source: Hypequest

HUF 2008 Summer Collection

Following up on our video interview with Keith Hufnagel regarding the latest addition to his powerhouse brand with a new LA opening, we offer a glimpse into some new pieces releasing from the label. In what we liken as a similar move with another popular skate/lifestyle brand, HUF’s game has really stepped up in recent memory to reflect a Supreme-esque movement with an interesting mix of refined pieces and provocative graphic t-shirts. Look for these to be available online at store.hufsf.com.

This past Saturday was the opening of the new HUF store in the Fairfax area in Los Angeles. The store’s decor which includes the plywood blocky furniture is much inspired by Huf’s roots – skateboarding. The store carries only HUF branded products including t-shirts, denim, caps and jackets. Despite HUF’s strong allegiance with Nike, skate brand DVS has always been integral part of HUF’s footwear arsenal. New more subtle colorways was created for the Huf 5 Lows and Huf 5 Runners. The 2 sneakers uses a stealthier purple/black/gray colorway with HUF’s signature earthquake pattern; the HUF 5 Lows uses extra durable suede as its primary material and the Huf 5 runners utilizes smooth leather. HUF New Website

HUF New Website

Huf SF relaunched their website today. The website has a very different look and feel from the last one, but retains the usual green Huf color. You can scroll through all their products from the home page with ease, and because it is all picture-based, you will find everything you’re looking for without knowing the names of the products. The online store is not yet launched, but it does have a very cool countdown clock that tells you exactly how much time is left. You can check out the website at www.hufsf.com.
