The ongoing collaboration between Beams and Head Porter recently included a briefcase as part of their 5th anniversary. Suitable for spring and summer, the bag is made from canvas with special treatments. Though it looks like leather in the pictures, a hand rubbed treatment was used to achieve this look. “The fabric of “FREE STYLE” has a unique texture of the contraction which is made by the piece-dyed high-density canvas #10 with clear polyurethane pressure bonding. Every piece was finished by hand-rubbing to make the leather-like texture. The Brown Buffalo x Burton CityLine

The Brown Buffalo x Burton CityLine

Back in late 2006, The Brown Buffalo started working with some new ideas on paper. Uninspired by the current status of pack and luggage design in the snow market, The Brown Buffalo worked with Burton to design CityLine. The idea was to build upon a daybag line that was specific to the end use while taking a step away from the traditional aesthetics of the snow pack design. After a number of concepts, round-tables and work within the collective process, The Brown Buffalo narrowed it down to a group of bags that reflected the brand. Here are some of the images of those styles for Spring 2008. Check out more pictures at www.thebrownbuffalo.com.
