KAWS (Brian Donnelly) is a New York-based pop artist and designer known for his signature limited edition vinyl toys. KAWS started off his career as a Graffiti artist, and his creations are recognised on billboards, bus stops, and phone booths. KAWS has designed and collaborated with the likes of Original Fake, A Bathing Ape, Undercover, Medicom Toy, Supreme, Nike, Comme des Garcons, NIGO, Jun Takahashi and Michael “Mic” Neumann.

American artist KAWS has teamed up with Japanese fashion label COMME des GARÇONS to create a series of wallets. These wallets utilize the popular CdG zip style wallet together with the familiar styles of Kaws. This collaboration includes more than just wallets and will also feature clothing, bags and fragrances. These items are set to debut on November 15th. Available now at Colette.

Artist and designer KAWS recently completed some pieces for hip hop artist/producer and leader behind BBC | Ice Cream Pharrell Williams. Three Smurf inspired paintings were created utilizing a recognizable KAWS touch. A 4 foot Kaws Companion also accompanies the items used to decorate Pharrell’s Miami apartment.
