KAWS (Brian Donnelly) is a New York-based pop artist and designer known for his signature limited edition vinyl toys. KAWS started off his career as a Graffiti artist, and his creations are recognised on billboards, bus stops, and phone booths. KAWS has designed and collaborated with the likes of Original Fake, A Bathing Ape, Undercover, Medicom Toy, Supreme, Nike, Comme des Garcons, NIGO, Jun Takahashi and Michael “Mic” Neumann.

Latest Collections
American artist KAWS has teamed up with Japanese fashion label COMME des GARÇONS to create a series of wallets. These wallets utilize the popular CdG zip style wallet together with the familiar styles of Kaws. This collaboration includes more than just wallets and will also feature clothing, bags and fragrances. These items are set to debut on November 15th. Available now at Colette.
As a follow up to yesterday’s feature regarding the Neighborhood x OriginalFake Zooth Toy comes a series of t-shirts that will release in accompaniment of the figures. The five different Zooth t-shirts will each have specific allocation between Neighborhood Tokyo (top left), OriginalFake Tokyo (top right) for the adult sizes while the kids versions can be bought at White Wall (bottom left and bottom right) and the hnyee.store. (bottom center and bottom right).

Original Fake has yielded a preview into their latest Halloween decoration. The black background showcases three fluorescents KAWS Companions each in a hanging skeletal form. Look for this decoration to appear at Original Fake and Original Fake dealers soon.
Paris boutique Colette has just released their latest mix CD. Created by Michel Gaubert and Marie Branellec, the CD includes a wide variety of deep ballads and melodies. The cover design was created by Max Nillson with illustrations by Kaws. Available now at Colette. The track list can be seen after the jump.

Artist and designer KAWS recently completed some pieces for hip hop artist/producer and leader behind BBC | Ice Cream Pharrell Williams. Three Smurf inspired paintings were created utilizing a recognizable KAWS touch. A 4 foot Kaws Companion also accompanies the items used to decorate Pharrell’s Miami apartment.
In what some may consider one of the most highly sought after toys in recent memory comes an in-depth look at this special collaboration between Kaws and Star Wars. Much detail and thought was implemented in the creation of this toy as evidenced by the costume and the control panel on the chest. This was only available in person at the Original Fake store in Tokyo.
