Description

Cleon Peterson is an LA-based artist whose chaotic and violent paintings represents a world in which deviance is the norm and violence, sex, and drugs bring a hollow pleasure. Peterson portrays a striking visual world in his art, in which hostility and violence are rendered senseless and without context. His creations are highly influenced by Leon Golub, Paul McCarthy, and Mike Kelley.
