Errolson Hugh has been synonymous with ACRONYM since the brand started in 1994. Hugh’s penchant for innovation and technical construction has made him one of the most heralded designers in the world of streetwear and footwear. Simply put, ACRONYM is in a league of its own today because of Hugh’s keen design vision.

It was another solid year for Errolson Hugh as seasonal ACRONYM drops made their way to select retailers and in the hands of die-hard fans. As Hugh points out in an interview with HYPEBEAST, the brand’s J1A jacket and 3A-1 bag are still the best selling products under the label with 18 versions of the J1A released. Additionally, Errolson Hugh and friend Karl Nikolai of Nothing Knew came together to partner with HBX for a giveaway of exclusive items from their personal archives. The initiative helped generate funds for Olympia Auset’s SÜPRMARKT, an organization that sources low-cost organic food and delivers them to underserved Los Angeles residents.

The year also saw ACRONYM release a collaborative jacket for outdoor pioneer Tilak’s 20th anniversary and the drop of the Bridges Variant J1A-GT jacket for Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding video game.
