HB RISING is our new end-of-the-year honors category giving recognition to ten designers and brands emerging as future leaders in their respective fields. The selections weigh heavily on fashion, although artists and other creatives who easily crossover the style genre are also considered.

This carefully picked roster of names have already broken through barriers, especially this year — they’ve won or have been nominated for prestigious awards, collaborated with various major labels or have been given praise by respected industry insiders. These are visionaries on the cusp of mainstream success and their potential to be regarded amongst established icons is why Hypebeast is giving them the well-deserved spotlight.

For 2020, we’ve partnered with Grey Goose, a like-minded champion of emerging talents, for this dedicated category. Here, we present to you our ten HB RISING honorees.
