POST ARCHIVE FACTION was a sure pick in our list of Emerging Korean Fashion Brands You Need to Know in 2020. Co-founders Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong launched the label in 2018 and have now released five collections. PAF is defined by its highly-imaginative concepts and technically difficult construction techniques. Deconstruction is at the core of the South Korean brand’s ethos — shredded-and-pieced jackets, colorfully patchwork trousers and long-fringed hoodies are just some of its sci-fi-esque creations. Crinkling techniques, excessive use of elastic ties and asymmetric drapes are also notable signature details.

In 2020, PAF was a bit more refined, yet still advanced in terms of fabrication and construction. The theme was also less apocalyptic but the futuristic essense of the label remained with more streamlined shapes, monochrome colors and clever detailing. PAF is avant-garde sportswear at its finest and is already stocked at shops like SSENSE, H.LORENZO and HBX. It’s only a matter of time until more global retailers carry the house’s powerfully progressive pieces.
