There’s little left to say about Supreme and founder James Jebbia, but we’ll try. The streetwear stalwarts — who have collaborated with Levi’s, The North Face, Timberland and much more — is still one of the most popular brand by some distance, despite fashion media trying (and failing) to announce it as dead following the Louis Vuitton collaboration.
And despite the valuation last year, it appears to be business as usual for Jebbia, who’s taking the recent fashion praise and criticism in stride. If there’s one thing that can be said for Supreme, it’s that it remains predictably unpredictable and continues to retain customers — and that’s something no other business can replicate authentically, no matter how much they try to.
