Description

Few labels have managed such a widespread impact in as short a time as Vetements. Launched in 2014 and named after the French word for "clothing," the brand achieved almost instant acclaim after guerrilla shows held in sex clubs, shopping malls and restaurants. Its design signatures: oversized hoodies, fetish-inspire details, deconstructed denim and ironic cartoon prints, quickly became a phenomenon. The label’s founder, Demna Gvasalia, left Vetements in 2019, to focus on his role as creative director at Balenciaga.
