Eponymous Label of Raf Simons
Raf Simons is a Belgian fashion designer. In 1995, Simons launched his own menswear label after starting his career designing furniture for galleries and private homes. He worked as a creative director for Christian Dior and showcased his first haute couture collection during Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012. Simons was officially announced as a new creative director of Calvin Klein, overseeing both women's and men's ready-to-wear. He has collaborated with brands such as adidas, Fred Perry and OFF-WHITE.

2011

Raf Simons 1995 replaces Raf by Raf Simons and features a homeware collection

2009

First advertising campaign debuts, shot by Willy Vanderperre

2005

Raf by Raf Simons (lower price point collection line) is launched

2004

Raf Simons goes through company restructuring with a distribution deal with Futurenet (Europe and USA) and Mitsui (Asia), followed by a license agreement with Futurepresent (joint-venture of Futurenet and Mitsui Italia)

2003

Simons receives the Swiss Textiles Award, receiving material benefits at the value of 100,000 euros

2000

The Spring/Summer collection takes inspiration from MENSA students and the Gabba youth subculture
Company shuts down after Raf Simons takes a sabbatical following his Fall/Winter 2000 collection

1997

Debuts first runway show in Paris
