Taking a chapter out of kitchenware, Medicom Toy has taken it to an all new level with the creation of a 400% stainless steel Bearbrick. In an interview with Medicom Toy CEO Takao Watanabe, he outlines the difficulty in creating this 13.5 kg (approximately 30 .lbs) toy as well as a new direction in high-end designer toys. Medicom Toy’s annual exhibition for 2008 is a few weeks away from opening. The event is marked by a series of displays from Medicom Toy’s ever expansive and popular line of figures and toys. In association with the displays, special collector sets will be made available exclusively at the event. These pieces include a Speed Racer Bearbrick set, a Golden Idol Bearbrick, a 400% Wooden Layer Bearbrick as well as Star Wars Kubricks and a Real Action Hero Parko.
