Adele and Edoardo Fendi founded the Italian luxury fashion house in 1925 as a purveyor of fine furs and leathers. Even after Karl Lagerfeld joined the brand in 1965, Fendi remained -- at its core. Today, Silvia Venturini Fendi, the founders’ granddaughter, is the only family member still working at Fendi, where she is the creative director of menswear, accessories and children’s.
