Description

Adele and Edoardo Fendi founded the Italian luxury fashion house in 1925 as a purveyor of fine furs and leathers. Even after Karl Lagerfeld joined the brand in 1965, Fendi remained -- at its core. Today, Silvia Venturini Fendi, the founders’ granddaughter, is the only family member still working at Fendi, where she is the creative director of menswear, accessories and children’s. Fendi is still known for producing some of the finest leather goods on the market, like its pequin-patterned bags and the iconic Fendi Baguette -- masterminded by Venturini Fendi.
