Disney+ has officially premiered the first full-length trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, spotlighting the looming conflict between Olympus and the Titans. The preview sets the stage for the adaptation of Rick Riordan’s The Titan’s Curse, raising the stakes for the demigod heroes as an ancient threat emerges.
The upcoming season follows Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) as he unites with Thalia Grace (Tamara Smart), daughter of Zeus, to rescue children of Hades Nico (Levi Chrisopulos) and Bianca di Angelo (Olive Abercrombie). The mission takes a dire turn when Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries) is captured by Luke’s forces and delivered to the Titan Atlas (Holt McCallany) in California, forcing her to bear the crushing weight of the sky. The trailer also provides a first look at the monstrous automaton Talos from the Junkyard of the Gods.
Expanding the mythological pantheon, the third season introduces Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Jennifer Beals as Demeter, Hubert Smielecki as Apollo, and Dafne Keen as Artemis. They appear alongside returning deities portrayed by Courtney B. Vance as Zeus, Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, and Adam Copeland as Ares.
