Audemars Piguet is closing out 2026 with two Code 11.59 releases built around one idea: craft you can see and, in one case, hear. On one side, the Maison revisits its patented Supersonnerie technology with a new 41mm Minute Repeater, showcasing its expertise in chiming complications. On the other, two 38mm Selfwinding references introduce natural obsidian and black onyx dials, highlighting the visual depth and individual character of stone. While the releases take different approaches to watchmaking, both reflect Audemars Piguet’s continued interest in balancing technical sophistication with distinctive materials and finishing.
The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Minute Repeater Supersonnerie 41mm arrives in an 18-carat white gold case, distinguished by a smoked sapphire dial that offers a subtle view of the mechanics beneath. Silver-toned details, white gold baton hands and hour markers, and a grey alligator strap complete its restrained aesthetic. At its core is the manually wound Calibre 2953, featuring 362 components and a 72-hour power reserve.
The movement incorporates Audemars Piguet’s Supersonnerie construction, which first debuted in the Royal Oak Concept RD#1 in 2016 following eight years of development involving watchmakers, musicians and researchers from EPFL. Its patented gongs are mounted on a dedicated soundboard, while an innovative caseback construction creates a resonance chamber designed to enhance the watch’s acoustic performance. The 41mm reference measures 13.6mm thick and offers 20 meters of water resistance.
Meanwhile, the 38mm Code 11.59 Selfwinding Stone Dial models introduce two contrasting interpretations of natural stone. The first pairs an 18-carat yellow gold case with a gold obsidian dial, whose naturally occurring mineral inclusions are brought into focus through a sunburst finish that radiates across its dark surface. Yellow gold hands and hour markers, a shimmering brown inner bezel and a black alligator strap reinforce its warmer palette.
Its counterpart takes a more understated approach, combining an 18-carat pink gold case with a mirror-polished black onyx dial. The deep, uninterrupted surface is punctuated by baguette-cut diamond hour markers totaling approximately 0.37 carats, alongside pink gold hands and a matching black alligator strap. Both references are powered by the self-winding Calibre 5909, comprising 174 components and offering a 60-hour power reserve. Measuring 9.6mm thick, the watches also feature double-curved sapphire crystals and 30 meters of water resistance.
