Japanese high jewelry Maison, MIKIMOTO, and luxury gothic label Chrome Hearts have reunited for the second installment of their highly coveted collaborative series. Following the success of their initial white gold and pearl release, the second drop shifts metal foundations to rich 22k yellow gold, imbuing the collection with a warmer, more antique-inspired aesthetic.
Designed to seamlessly merge MIKIMOTO’s luminous, world-class Akoya pearls and natural diamonds with Chrome Hearts’ rebellious, heavy metal design language, the lineup features five exclusive handcrafted styles: a focal cross pendant necklace, a Pearl and Cross motif bracelet, a safety pin brooch, and two distinct drop earring styles.
The highlight of the capsule is the 22k Gold Cross Pearl Necklace, which pairs intricate Chrome Hearts floral cross hardware with perfectly matched Mikimoto pearls and pavé diamonds. Released in ultra-limited quantities, the new Chrome MIKIMOTO collection is available through Chrome Hearts flagship stores in Tokyo, London and New York, as well as MIKIMOTO’s Ginza Main Store.
