The fabric is 100% cotton, spun using the open-end method that produces a coarser, airier yarn compared to ring-spun alternatives. That airiness translates to a dry, slightly rough hand feel with a noticeable weight to it, creating a body that the brand describes as tough, opaque even in the white colorways, and resistant to the kind of wear that thins out lighter jersey over time.
