CNCPTS and New Balance are extending their historic collaborative partnership with the official unveiling of the CNCPTS x New Balance 990v4 “Patina.” Rooted in the concept of vintage exploration and the organic aging of heritage materials, the Boston-bred silhouette elevates the legendary Made in USA runner with an elegant lifestyle aesthetic.
The upper swaps out traditional athletic finishes for a heavily layered, material-forward construction. A neutral off-white mesh base lays the foundation for a premium multi-tone suede and leather layout. Soft tan covers the toe box and primary lateral overlays, while deep brown perforated leather forms the structural midfoot panels. For an added sense of depth, a rich burgundy suede wraps the heel counter. Earthy olive green accents break up the warm tones, coating the iconic side panel branding, heel tabs, and fine-tuned midsole accents.
The curation extends into specialized travel-themed packaging and thematic accessories. Every pair features custom emerald green insoles, interchangeable ribbon laces, and a leather hangtag styled to look like a vintage luggage tag.
