For SS26, perennial collaborators MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon have refreshed the XT-MM6 with new colorways and introduced the CROSS DUST, a new silhouette that combines their earlier gaitered models with a packaging-inspired twist.
Following the baggier iterations of the MM6 Cross Low and High, the partners present a new take on Salomon’s trail-running Cross silhouette, featuring a technical gaiter inspired by Maison Margiela’s signature dust bags and neck tag graphics. MM6 and Salomon’s cobranded gaiter snugly encases the body of the shoe, hiding the bungee cord laces underneath for a streamlined look. The debut colorways take root in the monochromatic ethos of Maison Margiela, with a tonal white-beige and an all-black option. Whereas your average Salomon trail running sneaker is characterized by busier technical overlays, the gaiter encasing the uppers gives this model a minimalist facelift, versatile for both urban and outdoor environments.
For the XT-MM6, new colorways include an ’80s-inspired lime yellow, along with a range of cool grays and muted yellow accents. An all-black colorway is also offered for both the XT-MM6, completing the range with a stealthy variant. Finally, the XT-15 Backpack returns with improved comfort and ergonomics, and a rain cover, ensuring cargo stays dry in various weather conditions.
At $495 USD for the CROSS DUST and $480 USD for the XT-MM6, the MM6 × Salomon SS26 collection will be available on April 29, 2026, at MM6 and Salomon e-commerce platforms and shops, as well as select multibrand retailers.
