Ducati Celebrates Its 100-Year-Old Birthday With Superleggera V4 Centenario
The first ever road-legal superbike with a carbon-ceramic braking system.

For its 100th anniversary, Ducati unveiled something truly special: the Superleggera V4 Centenario.
Ducati has unveiled the Superleggera V4 Centenario, a limited-edition motorcycle restricted to just 500 numbered units. Beyond the limited edition-ness of it, it’s the first road-legal bike to feature a carbon-ceramic braking system and an Öhlins pressurized fork with carbon fiber sleeves. The motorcycle utilizes a comprehensive carbon-fiber chassis as well, including the frame, swingarm and wheels, resulting in a total weight of 173 kg or just over 380 lbs.
The specialized Desmosedici Stradale R 1100 engine produces 228 hp, increasing to 247 hp when equipped with the included racing kit. Performance is managed by a MotoGP-derived electronics suite featuring new DVO strategies and Dynamic Engine Brake technology. Visually, the bike debuts the Rosso Centenario livery, which inspired Ducati’s official 2026 racing designs.

If the Centenario wasn’t rare enough, Ducati is also releasing a limited-to-100 “Tricolore” edition that celebrates the legacy of the 750 F1 endurance racer. Owners of either will also get access to matching apparel that matches the special edition GP26 Rosso Centenario livery.
The Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario will make its rounds during the World Ducati Week 2026 in the beginning of July, while 26 lucky individuals will take ownership alongside a special MotoGP Experience track day as part of the purchase.
