adidas and Yohji Yamamoto have officially reunited to reintroduce the Y-3 F50 TUNIT ahead of the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup. Celebrating 20 years since the original “Beast Pack” united the realms of avant-garde design and global football in Germany, the pioneering duo is set to deliver a new era of expression. First previewed in Paris during the label’s Fall/Winter 2026 presentation, the latest release offers both a walkable street-ready iteration and a technically advanced performance version.

Drawing heavy inspiration from Japanese mythology, the lifestyle silhouette transforms traditional cleats into a versatile, walkable outsole unit for a defiant crossover statement. This off-pitch model proudly features the original mythical beasts from 2006, including a blue Dragon, a yellow Tiger, a red Eagle, and a silver Wolf.

For the pitch-ready version, the 2026 F50 ELITE FG TUNIT Y-3 centers specifically on the Wolf as the leader of the pack. While maintaining the signature artwork and lace cover from the original cleats, the firm ground boot is reimagined with the most advanced technical updates, including a HYBRIDTOUCH upper, haptic branding, and a SPRINTFRAME 360 outsole and heel counter. Each pair is completed with Yohji Yamamoto’s signature, bridging the past and present for a landmark summer of sport.
