Nike has unveiled a weather-ready update to the Shox TL, introducing the “Winterized” Pack. This release transforms the iconic 2003 silhouette into a functional option for the colder months, balancing its aggressive performance DNA with enhanced durability.
The pack arrives in two distinct colorways: a stealthy “Black” and a crisp “Photon Dust.” The most significant changes occur on the upper, where traditional open mesh is replaced by a tightly woven textile designed to block out the wind and chill. A zippered shroud now covers the lacing system, creating a streamlined profile that is both practical and easy to use in rough conditions. For added longevity, leather overlays reinforce the toe and heel, while a plush, padded collar ensures a secure, comfortable fit.
Despite these rugged upgrades, the signature full-length Shox columns remain intact, preserving the mechanical aesthetic that has defined the model for over two decades. Currently, the “Black” iteration is available online, with the “Photon Dust” pair expected to follow later this spring.
