Playboi Carti is officially making his entry into Fortnite on December 11. The genre-defying artist arrives with the v39.10 update, stepping into the role of Fortnite‘s first music-themed Blitz Boss.
Fans first caught a glimpse of Carti during the Fortnite Zero Hour live event, which attracted 10.5 million players and saw the rapper join other legends to save reality from the Dark Presence. Since that cameo, anticipation has been high to “cop a whole lotta Carti.”
New Playboi Carti Outfits, Emotes, and Jam Tracks will be available in the Shop on the same day, releasing at 7 p.m. ET. The drop includes the Playboi Carti Outfit and the King Vamp Carti Outfit, alongside the EVIL J0RDAN Emote and Rather Lie Emote, which are directly inspired by Carti’s signature dancing. Players can also add the “Evil J0rdan” and “Sky” Jam Tracks to their collections. Carti himself will be featured in Fortnite Blitz Royale, a fast-paced, 32-player Battle Royale mode designed for quick victories.
