Crocs Joins the Sneaker Loafer Craze

Countless brands have capitalized on the sneaker loafer trend this year, resulting in many unique hybrid silhouettes. While still a polarizing movement, there’s no denying its prominence at this point. The next brand to be joining the fray is Crocs, with its experimental EXP line set to drop the Gallery Shoe this month.
Teased by Ryan Forsyth, the Gallery Shoe references a loafer from the Crocs archive, 2012’s Tideline Sport, with a similar layered build. Equipped with laces and hairy suede at the upper, it’s backed by a outdoor-ready sole structure. “Bark” and “Black Sand” colorways offer monochromatic presentations in their respective neutral hues while branding is kept to a minimum with the Crocs wordmark engraved at the sole.
Crocs EXP is set to introduce the Gallery Shoe in its debut colorways of “Bark” and “Black Sand” later this month on September 30 via Crocs and select retailers such as Asphaltgold, which has listed the shoe at a starting price of €99 EUR (approx. $116 USD).
