Watch Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn Try To Escape in the Second Official Trailer of 'A Quiet Place: Day One'

In the second official trailer for Paramount Pictures‘ A Quiet Place: Day One, it takes audiences back in time to the very beginning of the alien invasion. The film is a prequel to John Krasinski‘s post-apocalyptic horror franchise and stars Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.
While in the recent films, the alien invasion has devastate the Earth and characters know to hide and not make a sound, this film goes back to the beginning, pinpointing how this all began. Hiding in silence becomes an art form that the characters have to learn, and many are learning it the hard way. Short and sweet, the synopsis of the film reads, “Experience the day the world went quiet.”
Directed by Michael Sarnoski, the second trailer gives a more in-depth glimpse of Nyong’o and Quinn’s characters as they try to survive the sudden arrival of the chaotic alien invasion. The cas also features Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou. Watch the trailer for the prequel above and look out for A Quiet Place: Day One in theaters on June 28.
