Multidisciplinary artist Alfred Freddy Krupa is currently the focus of a monumental exhibition in the Karlovac City Museum in Croatia. Krupa is best known for his “modern ink paintings” of unruly compositions that feature a diverse array of subjects spanning nudes, landscapes, and motifs inspired by Japanese wood-carvers.

This recent exhibition is perhaps the artist’s largest to date, with a total of 53 pieces displayed across the museum’s gallery rooms. Themes explored in the works include “personal and global situations” as well as animalism, as per a statement.

The exhibition is currently on show until December 1. Visit the Karlovac City Museum’s website for further details. Krupa’s ink works are in a number of museum collections including the Tate Britain Library in London, the Modern Gallery in Zagreb, and elsewhere.

In other shows, Andy Warhol’s ‘Screen Tests’ will be featured in an inaugural presentation at David Giroire’s new experimental space.
