Drake released his highly-anticipated fifth studio album Scorpion at the end of June, which has already gone platinum according to the RIAA. Consisting of 25 tracks, “A Side” seeing primarily hip hop tracks and “B Side” touching upon R&B and pop, Drake’s latest album sees the artist opening up about a plethora of topics including his hidden child who was ousted in Pusha T’s diss track, “The Story of Adidon” and an unidentified girl named Kiki on “In My Feelings.”
Besides the hit single giving rise to one of the biggest memes of the summer, “In My Feelings” has got fans asking about the girl Drake is referring to on the track. Now thanks to the creatives over at Genius, a new video analysis breaks down the clues into Kiki’s real identity, K’yanna Barber, a woman from Oakland, California that Drake has previously been romantically connected to. According to the video, KB’s brief romantic connection to Drake goes back to 2016 when she was spotted at his concert with Future. Since Drake dropped “In My Feelings,” KB has been dropping hints on social media that the single is in fact about her.
