Bentley Reveals New Luxury SUV, Bentayga V8
With a 0-52mph time of 4.5 seconds.
Bentley has revealed its third version of the Bentayga, called the Bentayga V8. The SUV has Bentley’s latest generation twin-turbo V8, which is four liters in size and produces 542bhp and 568lb ft torque. The car weighs 2.4-tonnes or 5,291 lbs; despite its rather large size, the Bentayga can go from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds.
To make sure the car can all be slowed back down again when driving at high speeds, you can add optional carbon ceramic brakes, which Bentley boasts are the “world’s largest front brake system.” The Bentayga V8 will be delivered to customers starting at the end of March. The car will not be the smallest-capacity variant for long — a hybrid Bentayga with a 410bhp 3.0-litre petrol V6 plug-in hybrid powertrain is due later this year.
