Nutting Associates’ rare 1973 Two-Player Computer Space Arcade Machine has officially hit the auction block via RR Auction. The vintage arcade cabinet comes directly from the personal collection of game programmer and Gaikai co-founder David Perry.

Released in mid-1973 following the 1971 single-player original designed by Syzygy Engineering founders Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, the two-player iteration represents a monumental piece of early video game history prior to the mainstream rise of Atari. Built with a retrofuturistic silhouette wrapped in a sparkly green fiberglass shell, the cabinet features a control panel equipped with a 25-cent quarter slot, a coin return button, a red “Start Game” button, a green “Two Player Operation” button, and two original rotational joysticks topped with red “Fire Missile” buttons.

Preserved in working condition with minor body scuffing, the machine includes its original functional screen and interior lighting. The rare cabinet is being offered as part of RR Auction’s broader Steve Jobs & the Computer Revolution: The Apple 50th Anniversary Auction Part Two event.

The two-player Computer Space arcade machine is currently open for bidding on RR Auction, with the listing set to officially close on August 20, 2026, at 7 PM ET.
