Pokémon Cafe TOKYO will reopen on June 17, with a renovated interior, a new show stage, and a fully updated grand menu. The Tokyo location has been temporarily closed since March 23 to accommodate the renovation, which introduces a dedicated stage for the new interactive show “Let’s Make Pika-Pika Parfait” alongside a broader interior refresh that brings more Pokémon characters into the space. Pokémon Cafe OSAKA will receive the new menu and show on the same date without the interior renovation.

The show is the most structurally new addition. “Let’s Make Pika-Pika Parfait” runs approximately 10 minutes and centers on Pikachu helping guests create the new signature parfait in real time. Three Pikachu character variants are in rotation — Chef Pikachu, Waitress Pikachu, and Patissier Pikachu — with which one appears kept random for each show, adding a collectible dimension to what is essentially a live dining experience. The show is built around the new Pika-Pika Parfait ~Chocolate & Berry~, making the menu item and the entertainment function as a single unified attraction rather than two separate elements.

The full grand menu renewal introduces six confirmed items across food, sweets, and drinks. The Pika-Pika Parfait ~Chocolate & Berry~ is the show’s centerpiece. The Pikachu & Pichu Friends Curry Plate, Snorlax’s Nap Teriyaki Burger, and Mimikyu’s Disguise Omelette and Corn Stew cover the savory menu. Eevee’s Colorful Fruit Pancake and the Go! Greninja! Smokescreen White Peach Drink round out the sweets and beverage additions. The character selection pulls from across the franchise’s generational range — Pikachu, Snorlax, Eevee, Mimikyu, and Greninja representing multiple eras of the series.

The GWP program ties the renovation directly to Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. One Pokémon 30th Anniversary logo sticker in a Pokémon Cafe version is gifted per drink order, across three design variants, distributed at random while supplies last. The sticker program gives the renewed menu a collectible element that extends the visit’s value beyond the dining experience itself.

The TOKYO renovation goes beyond the new stage. The interior update is designed to bring more Pokémon characters into the space, with the implication that the physical environment will feel more populated and immersive than the previous layout allowed. Combined with the dedicated show stage, the renovation positions the TOKYO location as the franchise’s primary experiential dining destination in Japan, operating on a reservation-only basis via the Pokémon Cafe website.
