Hot off its Kinetic Playscape installation at Milan Design Week, ASICS recently joined JD to launch a new pop-up space in Soho, London. As the first of its kind, the JD x ASICS House combined the theme of wellness with music and style, bringing locals to enjoy their favorite weekend rituals all under one roof.

Over the three-days, guests dropped by a listening lounge built with blue lights and chrome interiors for a laid-back feel, while Dead Good Coffee served up drinks in an all-day matcha bar. Bringing the latest trends into the space, the brand’s new season sneaker drops were exhibited for guests to try on and capture in their own polaroids.

Among the footwear models featured at the space was the GEL-NYC 2.0 – one of the latest offerings from ASICS which blends its heritage styles with modern tech for a lightweight feel. Its predecessor, the GEL-NYC, also landed at the space in its latest colorways alongside the GEL-1130 and other silhouettes from the GEL franchise.

Meanwhile, JD hosted several workshops which continued to hone in on the holistic themes of the pop-up. Following its opening night curated by Balamii and featuring DJ Seinfeld, the schedule on the second day focused on style with a tooth gem station as well as a customization workshop that brought bows and dyed panels to ASICS’ running silhouettes. To round off the activities, The Rogue Room collective were invited to host a yoga session for guests on Sunday, in keeping with the brand’s Sound Mind. Sound Body ethos.

Take a closer look at what went down at the JD x ASICS House in the gallery above.
