In a high-profile collaboration, De Bethune has partnered with independent retailer EsperLuxe to unveil the DB27 “Night Hawk,” a specialized iteration of the brand’s iconic Titan Hawk series. Designed alongside master watchmaker Denis Flageollet, the “Night Hawk” serves as a commemorative project that reflects the shared vision of innovation and artisanal craft between the two partners. This release is deeply symbolic, featuring a celestial “Starry Sky” display that maps the exact night sky over the location where the EsperLuxe and De Bethune partnership was finalized in 2021.
The DB27 “Night Hawk” introduces several aesthetic firsts for the collection, most notably its signature titanium flame-blued dial, which marks the first time this celestial motif has appeared on a DB27 model. The 43mm polished grade-5 titanium case measures a slender 9mm in thickness and is equipped with another series-first: matte flame-blued “short” floating lugs that articulate to hug the wrist. The dial is finished with mirror-polished blued hands and a chapter ring featuring silver-printed Roman numerals, while the mid-case is decorated with De Bethune’s characteristic “microlite” engraving.
Powered by the in‑house AUTOV2 movement, the watch delivers a 60‑hour power reserve, with patented innovations including a titanium balance wheel with white gold inserts and the “DB” balance spring with flat terminal curve. The skeletonized automatic caliber is visible through the open caseback, highlighting De Bethune’s finishing and technical mastery.
