United Airlines and adidas are officially joining forces to launch a limited-edition Samba sneaker in celebration of the airline’s 100th anniversary. Blending classic sneaker heritage with deep aviation history, the travel-inspired footwear aims to invite employees to step into a century of flight.
Set on the iconic adidas Samba silhouette, the collaborative design pairs a timeless aesthetic with custom details that honor the United legacy and the workforce behind it. The sneaker is highlighted by stripes and additional accents in the signature United Blue. Commemorative touches are placed on the heels, featuring the recognizable United globe logo on the left shoe and a gold “100 years” anniversary mark stamped on the right.
“As we celebrate 100 years of flying, this collaboration with adidas felt like a meaningful way to celebrate both our history and the people behind it,” shared Mark Muren, the Managing Director of Product Marketing and Brand at United Airlines. “It’s a thoughtful nod to the journey we’ve taken – and the one ahead.”
