Danish gaming peripherals brand Wallhack has officially unveiled its Ghost in the Shell collaboration, featuring the SP-005 glass mousepad and Pro Sleeve gaming arm sleeves. Following a highly successful, sold-out advance release at “The Ghost and the Shell” exhibition in Tokyo, the collection is now gearing up for a global drop.
For this crossover, Wallhack looked to capture the cultural framework of the legendary 1995 Mamoru Oshii film. The focal point is the SP-005 mousepad, which showcases Motoko Kusanagi in her iconic thermoptic camouflage during the free-fall sequence above New Port City. Engineered for competitive gamers and collectors alike, the artwork is rendered at full scale across a 440mm by 510mm tempered glass surface. The 3.0mm thick pad features a concave silicone anti-slip base and comes with PTFE and UHMW-PE mouse sole sets for a customizable glide.
Rounding out the release is a matching set of Pro Sleeve gaming arm sleeves. Constructed from a blend of polyester and spandex, the sleeves will be available in both Glove and Classic types to complete the setup. To celebrate the launch, a free screening of the theatrical film will take place at HUMAX Cinemas Ikebukuro in Tokyo on April 15, complete with product displays.
The Ghost in the Shell x Wallhack collection drops April 21 via the brand’s official webstore.
