Summary

  •  TAG Heuer debuted three new Carrera models at LVMH Watch Week 2026 in Milan
  •  The lineup features the Carrera Chronograph in 41mm as well as the first-ever Split-Seconds Carrera and a tide-tracking Seafarer

At LVMH Watch Week 2026 in Milan, TAG Heuer presented its newest horological offerings across its Carrera collection. Marking its 166th year, the Maison continues to refine its most iconic silhouette through the debut of the Carrera Chronograph in a new 41mm dimension, the historically-inspired Carrera Chronograph Seafarer and the monumental Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph. These releases celebrate a storied legacy through a contemporary lens, introducing the first-ever rattrapante complication in the Carrera line alongside maritime-inspired mechanical marvels.

Carrera Chronograph in 41mm

The Carrera Chronograph returns in a fresh 41mm dimension, extending the celebrated “glassbox” aesthetic with a sculptural sapphire crystal that curves seamlessly over a three-dimensional dial rehaut. Designed to capture light from every angle, the new case size balances presence with the effortless elegance of Jack Heuer’s original vision. The collection debuts in three inaugural palettes: a racing-inspired black dial energized by sharp red accents, a rich teal green that has become a modern brand hallmark and a sophisticated circular-brushed signature blue. Each reference is paired with a sophisticated seven-row beads-of-rice steel bracelet, uniting heritage-driven character with modern comfort.

Beneath the dial beats the in-house TH20-01 movement, a mechanical heart visible through a transparent caseback engraved with a Victory Wreath tribute to motorsport excellence. This bidirectional automatic calibre delivers a robust 80-hour power reserve and features a vertical clutch and column wheel for flawless, tactile engagement. Available this month, these chronographs carry a recommended retail price of 7,500 CHF (approx. $9,397 USD).

Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph

Representing a monumental milestone for the collection, the Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph introduces the prestigious rattrapante complication to the Carrera for the first time. Housed in a 42mm grade-5 titanium case, the watch is a study in transparency, featuring a translucent sapphire glass dial that offers an unobstructed view of the intricate hand-finishing beneath. The “glassbox” crystal is further refined to magnify the anthracite rehaut and sub-dials, creating an immersive sense of depth. Tactile pushers flank the crown, while a dedicated button at 9 o’clock activates the red-lacquered split-seconds hand, allowing for the timing of two separate events simultaneously.

This high-performance machine is powered by the TH81-01 calibre, developed in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. Beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour to ensure absolute precision, the movement is a work of art composed of over 350 components hand-finished with techniques like black polishing and anglage. A hand-applied checkered flag motif crowns the movement, serving as the signature mark of TAG Heuer’s most elite calibers. Estimated for release in June 2026, this timepiece is priced at 110,000 CHF (approx. $137,830 USD).

Carrera Seafarer

TAG Heuer revisits its maritime history with the Carrera Seafarer, a modern soul-successor to the legendary tide watches of the 1950s. The opalin champagne dial is a poetic nod to the ocean, highlighted by “Intrepid Teal” — a hue named after the 1967 America’s Cup-winning yacht. The standout feature is the dedicated tide indicator at 9 o’clock, which uses a rotating disc divided into quadrants to accurately track high and low tide cycles over a 29.5-day period. This functional tool-watch aesthetic is further enhanced by 18k yellow gold-plated indices and a seven-row steel bracelet.

Driven by the in-house TH20-04 caliber, the Seafarer offers an 80-hour power reserve and features a specialized “TIDE” pusher for intuitive adjustment. For the true sailor, the watch also comes with an additional beige sports strap lined in teal, reminiscent of traditional boat rigging. Scheduled for a release in March, the Seafarer will retail for 8,300 CHF (approx. $10,400 USD).
