Amazon MGM Studios has officially released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated live-action Masters of the Universe film, bringing the legendary world of Eternia to the big screen.

The trailer reveals a fish-out-of-water premise where a young Prince Adam, played by Nicholas Galitzine, has been hidden away on Earth to keep him safe from the dark forces of his home world. While living a mundane life, Adam remains obsessed with “nerd stuff” and ancient legends, only to discover that the mythical stories of talking tigers and magic swords are his actual reality. The teaser showcases a cinematic blend of high-fantasy action and modern-day intrigue as Adam eventually claims the Power Sword, transforming into the iconic hero He-Man to protect both worlds.

The film features a star-studded cast including Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man/Adam, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Alison Brie as the villainous Evil-Lyn. Directed by Travis Knight (known for Bumblebee and Kubo and the Two Strings), the production marks a major milestone for the franchise after years of development.

The trailer provides glimpses of fan-favorite elements such as Castle Grayskull, Battle Cat and the menacing Skeleton, promising a faithful yet contemporary reimagining of the classic 1980s Mattel property. Masters of the Universe is scheduled to premiere in theaters on June 5, 2026.
