Maglia Milanese Monete Secret Watch
The Maglia Milanese Monete Secret Watch is a radiant tribute to Eternal Rome, centered around an authentic silver coin from 198–297 AD depicting Emperor Caracalla. This “secret” timepiece features a geometric octagonal case in rose gold, meticulously set with brilliant-cut diamonds that frame the ancient artifact. In a first for the Maison, the watch is paired with a matching Milanese mesh bracelet – a structure of interlaced gold threads developed during the Renaissance – offering an irresistible, masterful suppleness that embraces the wrist. Upon opening the coin cover, a delicate white mother-of-pearl dial is revealed, punctuated by 12 diamond hour markers.
Ticking beneath its historic exterior is the Piccolissimo BVP100, the world’s smallest round manual-winding mechanical micro-movement. Measuring just 13.5 mm in diameter and weighing a mere 1.9 grams, this feat of engineering is now visible through a transparent caseback — another first for this caliber. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph and provides a 30-hour power reserve. At the heart of this jewelry-inspired timekeeper is a square 16mm yellow gold case with a pavé diamond dial.
