Final ‘Wicked: For Good’ Trailer Offers First Look at Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion

Universal has dropped the final trailer for Wicked: For Good, with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo returning as Glinda and Elphaba.
The visual further teases Oz’s acceptance of Glinda as the Good Witch of the North and their disdain for Elphaba as the Wicked Witch of the West. A fight sequence between the two seemingly takes place outside of Dorothy’s house, although later scenes also hint at more heartwarming interactions between the two. A first look at Dorothy, the Tin Man, Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion are also offered, although the actress who plays Dorothy is yet to be announced.
Wicked: For Good will follow the second act of the hit Broadway musical. A logline states that the sequel will see Glinda and Elphaba’s friendship “being put to the test as they embrace their new respective identities as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the North, and how the consequences of their actions will change all of Oz forever.”
Jon M. Chu is returning to direct the sequel while Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang and Bronwyn James are also reprising their roles.
