The 2025 Goodwood Revival will spotlight five legendary BMW Art Cars as part of the Earls Court Motor Show, celebrating 50 years of the series that unites motorsport and contemporary art. Running September 12–14, the exhibition is part of the global BMW Art Car World Tour, which honors the legacy of the collection’s 20 “rolling sculptures” designed by artists including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jeff Koons and David Hockney.

Among the highlights is Hockney’s 1995 BMW 850 CSi, which uses bold brushstrokes to reveal the car’s “inner spirit,” alongside Frank Stella’s 1976 BMW 3.0 CSL, Roy Lichtenstein’s 1977 BMW 320i Turbo, Ernst Fuchs’ 1982 BMW 635 CSi and Jeff Koons’ 2010 BMW M3 GT2, whose vibrant palette evokes speed even at a standstill. Each model reflects its artist’s unique vision while staying true to BMW’s racing heritage, from Le Mans–tested machines to production-based icons.

Launched in 1975, the BMW Art Car project has become a global cultural landmark, bridging technology, design, and art through collaborations with some of the world’s most influential creatives. At Goodwood, visitors will be able to experience this dialogue firsthand, seeing how artists from across generations interpreted the automobile as both engineering achievement and artistic canvas. Saturday tickets for the Revival are already sold out, with limited availability remaining for Friday and Sunday via the event’s official site.
