20th Century Studios has debuted the trailer for Predator: Badlands, the standalone film helmed by Dan Trachtenberg.
The upcoming title stars Elle Fanning as the android Thia and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek, a young Predator outcast from his clan. The two join forces “in search of the ultimate adversary,” with the trailer teasing major fight scenes with humans and creatures bigger than Dek.
Badlands marks the seventh film in the main series and nine in the overall franchise. It follows 2022’s Prey, which served as a prequel and was also directed by Trachtenberg.
