Following up on a series of pop-ups for its main line and BEAMS Plus, Japanese brand BEAMS is continuing its charge into the US. The multi-label powerhouse is bringing its cultural initiative, BEAMS JAPAN, to Los Angeles, offering a curated selection of traditional crafts and contemporary souvenirs.

This time, BEAMS JAPAN will showcase the beauty of Japan and the “people, products, and practices” that have come to define Japan’s modern cultural identity. From regional crafts to urban subcultures and modern design, the label feeds the growing affinity for Japanese culture worldwide.

The assortment will include pieces from Aomori Hiba Cul de Sac-JAPON , and furniture from Tendo Mokko by Sori Yanagi, and art displays by Tadanori Yokoo and photographer Daido Moriyama.

BEAMS JAPAN made its first visit to the US in 2019 at Fred Segal Sunset, also in Los Angeles. Recreating the atmosphere of BEAMS JAPAN Shinjuku, the pop-up offered an immersive experience complete with 101 lanterns on the façade. Since then, the brand has increased its global presence, establishing the BEAMS America web store in 2025.
