LEGO has unveiled its latest collector’s item for car enthusiasts: the LEGO Icons Shelby Cobra 427 S/C set. Launching in celebration of the sports car’s 60th anniversary this August, the 1:10 scale model faithfully recreates the 1960s icon with 1,241 pieces and intricate details.
Designed for adult builders, the set features functional steering, opening doors, hood and trunk, along with a detailed V8 engine. The classic blue body with white racing stripes, side exhausts and signature grille captures the Cobra’s aggressive look. Extras like a trunk-fitted toolbox, fire extinguisher and trophy bring its racing legacy to life. A $100 USD bill element nods to Carroll Shelby’s legendary “$100 bill game.”
The LEGO Icons Shelby Cobra 427 S/C, priced at $160 USD, will be available to LEGO Insiders starting July 1, and to the general public on July 4 via the toy maker’s official site and stores.
