Summary

  • For their fourth collection, released today, Zara Home and Vincent Van Duysen offer a new modular seating system, sleek chrome accents, and ethereal textiles.

Zara Home continues its ongoing partnership with Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen, offering pared-back but bold statements for the home in the form of seating, case goods, lighting, and decor.

Sleek, airy spaces and neutral color palettes are a mainstay of Van Duysen’s practice. Nevertheless, the Belgian architect’s cozy material palette and classically informed interior design choices give his spaces a comforting, familiar atmosphere. The Spain-based retailer’s home line, rooted in simple modern designs and organic materials, blends seamlessly with its minimal ethos.

Sofa 02 leads the assortment, offering a modular system for infinite compositions, finished with leather seating and an oak framework. Elsewhere, Daybed 02 is wrapped in leather and accented with a chrome frame, and Lounge Chair 03 reintroduces an organic feel with dark wood legs.

On the bolder side of the spectrum, Side Table 05 is made from mirror-polished chrome steel planes arranged in a beam-inspired form. The lustrous metal is also used for the sculptural Lamp 03, featuring a curved metal facade.

For decor, white Rug 04 features areas of textured wool woven to evoke a cracked surface, while Object 06 brings a personal touch to the collection, representing a tribute to Vincent Van Duysen’s beloved dogs.

The fourth Zara Home x Vincent Van Duysen collection is available now at the Zara Home web store.
