LEGO announced two more selections from its 2024 IDEAS review, unveiling fan-made sets of Godzilla and Hergé’s The Adventures of Tintin.
Submitted by user MattE720 in December 2023, the Godzilla build takes inspiration from the more recent films such as King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. Details, including the number of pieces and its dimensions, were not revealed by the creator.
Meanwhile, the Tintin set replicates the famous rocket used by the titular character and his friends in 1953’s Destination Moon comic book. Creator Tkel86 confirmed that his version features 1,022 pieces for the rocket and an additional 643 pieces for the launch tower. The rocket pays homage to the original’s red and white color scheme, while the yellow launch tower includes three bridges connecting it to the rocket.
