Ready To Hang Makes Its European Debut at Milan Design Week
Set to host an immersive pop-up at Parrucchiere, a traditional salon in Milan.

Ready To Hang (RTH), the New York-based design studio known for its sculptural mirrors, brings its signature aesthetic to Milan Design Week 2025 with two standout installations, marking its first-ever presence in the city.
The first is a playful pop-up at Parrucchiere, a traditional hair salon in the heart of the Porta Venezia district. In collaboration with Convey, the installation places RTH’s contemporary mirrors within the salon’s nostalgic setting, creating a dialogue between vintage charm and modern design. Highlights include the “Gotchi” Mirror in chrome, a half-sphere 3D mirror with an indented square center and the “Squeeze” Mirror in Milano, which appears to be pinched in the middle by bright green orbs. These contemporary touches bring a vibrant, unexpected twist to the retro space. On April 10, the pop-up will also host a Free Haircut Day, offering complimentary cuts as part of the immersive design experience.
RTH’s second installation, Between Seeing, is on view at Alcova and offers a more introspective exploration of form and perception. Presented in partnership with Le Labo and Claire Marie Astruc, the site-specific installation leads visitors through a surreal landscape of suspended fabric, glass and mirrors. The work delves into themes of presence, illusion and the act of seeing itself. The collection features existing RTH mirror models – “Big Squeeze,” “Clasp,” “Bezel” and Puffer – reimagined in new colorways, alongside standout pieces like the Jelly Mirror, a round design framed by a translucent, jelly-like rim.
Both installations will be open to the public throughout Milan Design Week, from April 15 to 21.
