MSCHF has a name for wowing the footwear scene with its avant-garde creations. Now back with a new offering, the Brooklyn-based art collective and creative studio has revealed the 2×4 Loafer, a new model that evolved from last year’s 2×4 Boot. While the boots were a bold reimagining of lumberjack workboots, the loafer commands a stealthier presence in an all-black makeover. Also crafted out of gum rubber, the shoe maintains the essence of the 2×4 line with exaggerated proportions and stacked height. Similar to the boots from last year, the new loafer model is also fitted with a padded leather ankle collar.
