yasiin bey and The Alchemist are set to perform their upcoming collab album FORENSICS in a Bandcamp livestream.

Scheduled to take place on February 7 at 9 p.m. CET, the livestream will mark the albums’ first introduction to a wider audience following their inaugural concert at Le Trianon during Paris Fashion Week. FORENSICS is the result of the pair’s collaboration that began in Los Angeles in 2023 after they were brought together by their mutual friend Chace Infinite. The album artwork, entitled The Weight of an Ant, is done by bey’s friend and previous collaborator Anuar Khalifi.

FORENSICS is more than the name of an album, it’s descriptive of a new approach to delivering art, bringing together the experience of musical content with fashion, visual art, technology and community,” the press release reads. “The approach foments an intimate bond with the artists’ core audience, delivering an experience that resonates on multiple levels.”

The livestream is set to take place on February 7 via Bandcamp for $9.99 USD. Viewers will be able to replay the stream for 48 hours after the event. FORENSICS is set to release in full at the end of Q1 2025.
